Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ComBase — the website at getcombase.com and the community-forum service it provides (the “Service”). By creating an account, starting a community, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use ComBase.
1. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You’re responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for everything that happens under it. Give us accurate information and keep it current.
2. Your community and content
When you create a community, you’re its owner and operator. You are solely responsible for that community, its members, and all content posted in it — including moderation, and compliance with all laws that apply to you and your members. You retain ownership of your content; you grant us the licence needed to host, back up, and display it so we can run the Service.
You must not use ComBase for anything illegal, abusive, infringing, or harmful, and you must not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
3. Subscriptions, billing and non-payment
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. New communities may include a free trial; after it ends, continued use requires an active paid subscription. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
If a payment fails and your account remains overdue for more than 15 days after your last billing date, we may permanently delete your community and all of its data. Deleted data cannot be recovered or restored. Keep your own backups of anything you can’t afford to lose. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
4. Analytics, error tracking and third parties
To operate and improve ComBase we use third-party services, and some of your data is processed by them. These include, among others:
- Google Analytics — usage analytics on our marketing site.
- Sentry — error and performance monitoring, which may capture technical and request data when something goes wrong.
- Cloudflare — content delivery, storage and security.
- Resend — sending transactional email.
See our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and how it’s used.
5. Service “as is” — no warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any data will be preserved. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ComBase is not liable for any bugs, errors, outages, security incidents, loss or corruption of data, lost profits, or for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service, even if we’ve been advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. You use the Service, and rely on it, at your own risk.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to us. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and your data may be deleted.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we’ll take reasonable steps to let you know. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
