Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what data ComBase (getcombase.com) collects, how we use it, and who we share it with when you use our website and service. By using ComBase you agree to this policy.

1. What we collect

  • Account data — your email address, and the community name/subdomain you choose.
  • Community data — the forums, pages, posts, settings and uploads you and your members create.
  • Usage & device data — pages viewed, actions taken, IP address, browser and device information, collected automatically as you use the site.
  • Payment data — handled by our payment processor; we don’t store full card details.

2. Analytics, error tracking and other processors

We use trusted third parties to run and improve the Service. They process some of your data on our behalf:

  • Google Analytics — measures traffic and usage on our marketing site using cookies and similar technologies.
  • Sentry — captures errors and performance data (which can include technical details, IP address and request context) so we can diagnose and fix problems.
  • Cloudflare — serves and secures the site and stores uploaded files (R2); processes IP addresses and traffic metadata.
  • Resend — delivers transactional emails such as activation links.

Each provider handles data under its own privacy terms.

3. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and (on our marketing site) for analytics. You can control cookies through your browser; disabling some may affect how the site works.

4. How we use your data

To provide and operate the Service, authenticate you, send you necessary emails, process payments, monitor and fix errors, prevent abuse, understand usage, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If your subscription is overdue by more than 15 days after your last billing date, your community and its data may be permanently deleted and cannot be restored. You can request deletion of your account at any time; some records may be retained where the law requires.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise them, contact us at the address below.

7. No responsibility for loss

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no service is perfectly secure. To the extent permitted by law, ComBase is not responsible for any loss, corruption, or unauthorised access to data. Please keep your own backups of anything important.

8. Changes & contact

We may update this policy from time to time and will note the “last updated” date above. Questions or requests? Email [email protected].
